Here's a quick video of a 2023 fleece. I hope this will help.... All of our fleeces will vary.
Our sheep do not wear jackets. We do the best we can to keep the vm low. They fleeces are nice and white. The lighting wasn't the greatest in the video and seemed to give the fleece a yellow color which isn't the true color. We skirt all of our fleeces on shearing day. They do contain some seconds and may have a few burrs (not the big nasty ones but still poky)
I only sell the fleeces I (as a spinner) would enjoy processing myself.
This is my 19th year of selling fleeces online!
