All About Color.... Mixing Reds....

Writer's picture: Kami NoyesKami Noyes

Join me in my journey of exploring colors, this part of the adventure will be taking 2 colors and mixing them. Color A and Color B... Color A in this study will be Red-Pink. Color B will change from Yellow, and

Brown... I did 4 samples of each mixture...

First was mixing Pink with Brown. For my sample yarn I used 38 yards, 1/2 oz of a 100% Targhee wool yarn pre-soaked. All measurements are of dry powder and in teaspoons.

And here are the results....

Next was Pink and Yellow using the same measurements as before...

Next was mixing Red and Brown still using same measurements as before...

Next was mixing Red and Yellow still using same measurements as before....

I hope everyone is enjoying my color journey. Feel free to ask any questions by clicking the contact tab above or commenting on the blog. Also you are welcome to use any of the above information for your own study. My only request is that you share my website with all your fiber friends in return :)
